So the US version will be around 2500 lbs. I guess 0-60 will be closer to 5.0s?

Don't forget the average American weighs 180 lbs which is one of the heaviest in the world. Italy average is 153. I'm going on a diet. I will also be driving with only my shorts on.

Garage
Dont be surprised of they give you guys in the states a little bit more power to compensate for the weight..

This engine is good for 300bhp.. So they can easily change the mapping to give you guys a little more shove

And we know that if they do that, who is gonna be breaking certain people's "INBOX" to get the same map!

Then every journalist who complained about it being underpowered would feel justified. Even if AR only did it to accommodate the US market. Which brings me to my next point.

AR stated there was to be one world-wide version of the 4C, hence the reason we all get the stupid side reflectors. So if there is the possibility of re-mapping for the US market, why not do it for everyone?

I honestly doubt they will remap it for the US market even if the car weights 100kgs more there. We know there will most probably be a more powerful version everywhere all over the world.
As for the side reflectors I think it's purely a cost to re-engineer the panels if they had to do a version without the side reflectors. At least I hope someone will make some white or red ones to replace the originals. Lots of people in the US change them on sports cars.

Won't do a full GTA version as there is not much to do in terms of Allegerita (weight saving). Maybe a short-run production of a track only version?

lets see how affordable these get in a decade, after my Giulietta needs replacing. Let's hope they don't invent carbon rot....

It's the idiots at the DOT. It cost $20 to change on my 911-everyone does it.
