Interesting to note that the red 4C being manufactured is a normal production version. Wonder if these photos were taken when the original show models were being pieced together?

Also noticed the different rims...

The rims that they show are the standard rims for the car as you can very briefly see on the introduction video on the Alfa 4C website.

I really wonder if this is taken now or it's just when they were preparing the cars for the presentation. I thought production hadn't started yet and that they would advertise the start of production pretty strongly!

I think one of the white ones is also a standard edition, and also RHD if I'm not mistaken. Getting ready for Goodwood Festival maybe?

4C overload today! A two-part series of the production:

Part 1: NEW ALFA ROMEO 4C Assembly plant 2013 Modena Part I - YouTube

Part 2: NEW ALFA ROMEO 4C Assembly plant 2013 Modena Part II - YouTube

I love the lack of commentary, you just sit back and appreciate the process.

Although this is in Italian, it contains some interesting info that were not provided so far (as long as I know).

In peanuts:

- all production pics released in the last days refer to pre-series models, used for final tests before standard production starts

- current production pace tops 2 pre-series cars per day

- production of actual client cars will start before summer (doesn't know what this means)

- standard production pace will top 14 cars per day

I wonder if the first deliveries that are seemed to be completed in the second half of September include any of the LE cars? It is much earlier than the time that was set by the AR in the first place (in my case, it was said to be around mid-December).

I hope it is the case, snow/rain and a mid-engined RWD car is not exactly the best combination

Hi, the 4C LE's will be made first...

However LHD cars will be made first.. The RHD's

And you have to factor in shipping time from the plant to Turkey..

We in SA will only get our LE's in February next year... Assuming no delays

Thanks for the answer I know the shipping time is also a major factor, I hope your assumption of no delays is a correct one

There is at least one RHD car in the recently released pictures of production starting, so I would not assume RHD is "batched"
