Options List?

Has anyone gotten ahold of a full options list yet? Seems like maybe dealers got something today?

Over here (the states) nobody seems to know anything - supposedly some of the Fiat dealers will be getting Alfa franchises, but none of them know yet. Hrmph.

Yup, option 1 - empty wallet.

I don't think the launch version has any options (apart from the paint choice of white or red), it is a limited run of 500 cars. The full details of the production car have not been announced yet afaik. Some of the UK dealers my chip in here.

Cheers,

Nigel

Rumours are that the production version has 18 inch wheels all round (instead of having 19 rears) and also doesn't seem to have those ducts on the front wings (which I'm not keen on)
One article I read also suggests the standard car gets fabric seats and not fully stitched leather.
I suspect the red and silver cars in the Geneva shots are the production versions and the white one is the launch model which is probably like the Stradale will be but without the higher tuned engine. Some of that is speculation of course but it would fit with the strategy.

For me the options are:
1. €59,999 discount.
2. Delivery to my house today.

If they offer those two, I'll take one!

I think free insurance might come in handy - a carbon chassis, mid-engine, Italian sportscar is not going to be cheap to insure.

So an option 2 delete would be a no-go.

Well If they would offer me option 1, I think I would get over a few months waiting period, I wouldn't even mind collecting it at the factory.

But hey, who am I.....

They would be plain crazy not to make the Bi-LED options, and it won't take long for the aftermarket to make carbon trim parts.

Also wondering if they meant to imply that the launch version lacks climate control?

Would be a shame if you can't spec the normal 4c up to the launch edition spec.

And does anybody know what the "track pack" option contains ??

If they are serious about the track capabilities of the 4C then Alfa should also offer a lim.slip diff. option instead of the electronic Q2 which the standard car has.

It does seem like the launch spec doesn't have climate control, based on the pics from Geneva. A bit odd, but perhaps a weight-savings.

Pinky - if you want to shoot me a copy of the pdf ([email protected]) I can host it on a server and provide a link.

And they shouldn't make it so race mode deactivates if you brake too hard!! What kind of driver doesn't approach the limits of adhesion in race mode on a racetrack? You can't concentrate on racing if you're forever having to hold the DNA selector in D for 5 seconds to reactivate race mode. Wouldn't have this problem with a mechanical LSD, a manual gearbox and a fuse for the ABS / stability control.

Incidentally using the same MiTo DNA selector without making one with a cool 'R' position for Race mode is an understandable cost saving, but disappointing.
