I had the standard exhaust. It sounds sporty enough outside the car but not quite enough theatre inside. I bought the Alfaworks Quicksilver Helmholtz exhaust from Jamie Porter and have never looked back. You adjust the noise using your right foot and the gear paddles. Bloody brilliant. I’ve driven with many other 4Cs and the Quicksilver has a very pleasant, tuned note to it and is completely drone free when compared to the race exhaust.
I wouldn’t be looking at bare minimum widths when it comes to backing a 4C into or out of a garage. The width they give with both door mirrors extended is 2090mm. I estimate you should take 100mm off for both mirrors (50mm each side). They don’t give the mirror folded width in my handbook. I only have about 5cm clearance each side with both mirrors extended and feel you wouldn’t want any tighter fit than that. I’ve already managed to brush the carbon mirror cap with the brickwork. Luckily the wrap sacrificed itself and no damage was done. Very lucky.
