Believe it or not, it’s Hyundai that surprise you more. You expect to be underwhelmed when you drive one, but an i10 drives better than a Fiat 500, Mini, or Alfa Mito, etc.

I really have to beg to differ on that!
I hired an i10 for a few days in January/February and I can confirm it's one of the most dire cars I've ever driven: dated interior with nasty grey plastic everywhere; steering that is both simultaneously numb and twitchy; fuel consumption way below expectations; gutless 3 cylinder 1.0 litre engine with no redeeming features such as "perky around town"; terrible
paintwork - I've seen oranges that have less of the "orange peel" effect.
Overall, it was a really miserable experience. It didn't compete, in any field, to the experience I've had driving the Mito.
