BTCC 2003 Started at Mondello
with a win!
Alfaowner.com and GA motorsport, celebrated the first
British touring car production race win at Mondello
in Ireland.
Race driver, Chris Ryan brought the 2.0 156 race car
across the finish line with only seconds to spare to
last years Alfa Romeo BTC driver, Alan Blencowe.
Chris Ryan has since left the race team and has not
been replaced, we hope to see this race car out battling
again as soon as possible, but with team dynamics now
sponsoring the Vauxhall astra, it might be 2004 before
the Alfa hits the track again.

BRSCC Alfa 156 Winter Series
Alfaowner.com and GA Motorsport ran
in last years 2003 BRSCC Winter series, which started
in November of 2002.
Snetterton was a wash out due to rainfall but we brought
cars home 1st and 3rd in our class. Brands Hatch was
the last venue and unfortunately with 2 cars suffering
blown engines and another breaking a drive shaft, we
failed to bring a car home across the finish line :(
Phiroze Bilimoria, Nick Whalley and Alan Blencowe were
driving in the series, Alan Blencowe went on to drive
with BTCP Honda and new comer Phiroze Billimoria secured
the BTCP BMW drive.
