Just thought id drop in and say hello, I'm a leeds lad with a black GT, and before that an africa grey 156. just joined the AO and a newbee to this forum business so bear with me but so far so good.
Aye up
The name's either Gez or Ged
Married to the beautiful Krista
I think I've got the only Brera & GT, in Batley
Gives us a wave if you see me in the red Brera, or Mrs Brickman in the Stromboli grey GT. :Bye:
Hi from Garry
I'm 52 and just got my first Alfa, which gives lie to the old adage that the older you get, the wiser you get
I live near Castleford, am married and have 2 sons, 1 grandson and 3 granddaughters.
Bikes are my passion, especially if they are made by Suzuki. I have several road bikes, an on-going project bike and a well used & abused trackday bike, on which I am near to completing my quest of having done a trackday at every mainland circuit in the UK - just 5 left to do:thumbs:
Some of you will have seen my 145 at the Corn Mill meet last month - mines the red one with the blacked-out windows. In fact, it was the only one...................
Hi Ian
thanks for the welcome:thumbs:
keeping it clean and standard - just done the dreaded belt & tensioners and it was a doddle. Got rid of the BMC filter and put the standard unit back on - can hear the cd's now!
May see you at the next Corn Mill meet.
Garry.
Hi everyone, been a member for months now and I've just found the AOY lounge! Anyway my name is Pete and I drive a 156 Selespeed Sportswagon which I've owned for 8 months now and I still grin like a Cheshire cat every time I'm out in her
I'm 44 years old and apart from my Alfa my greatest loves are my two 'kids', now aged 19 & 21, my dog, (hence the Sportswagon!) motorsports and good food! Being an expat Geordie in a foreign land I also have my cultural heritage to bring to this Yorkshire forum, i.e. I like the odd pint!
Hiya,
I'm new to this site but a huge lover of everything Italian..especially cars. I've got 2 young daughters with a third baby on the way...
I prefer older cars for classical lines and currently own a Fiat 500 while also in love with the idea of owning a red 1600 junior...

Yes, it was a great day out, and a great venue with lots to see and do. A good turnout of cars there as well:thumbs: it was good to finally meet up with fellow alfa lovers. anyone going to mitcar? thanks Lee
Hi guys, my name is Mick, and I too am a alfaholic. (you can never be fully cured in my opinion).
I live in Pudsey with my other half Louise, and our three kids Claire, Ben and Jack, all car mad thank god. Have a 156 GTA which has been off the road for nearly two years after the cam belt went two days before we moved house! and a week before I intended to change the belt. Have now got her back on the road after much money, and cuts and grazes. I am self employed as a vehicle assessor (hence the unambiguous name). Orginally had a 156 selespeed as a company car in 99, and fell in love from there on. I drive many miles in a day but always love getting back in the Alfa. Hope to see some of you guys at the future meets. We run a few cars so there is always something to fix, but hey it keeps your hand in. I am sure you will see the car about in Leeds now it is on the road so wave away guys.
I thought I'd introduce myself even though I haven't really "joined" anything yet. I am Michael, and own a 159 1.9 JTD SW lusso with those nice horseshoe wheels in Stromboli grey. I have 2 young daughters so goodness knows how I'm going to keep the pale interior clean. We also have a 147 1.9 JTD ilusso in silver.
Live in Bradford, work in Leeds, and have owned a belting 1999 Black 156 2.0 lusso saloon with tan leather interior. Would have kept it as a runaround if it had been a diesel.
Would be interested in knowing about any Alfa days in Yorkshire over the next few months.
Just keep a eye on this Lounge all forthcoming events will always be at the top of the page
Look forward to meeting you someday soon
Ian
