Gents (and Ladies if there are any reading),

I need to find a good quality yet reasonably priced body shop to sort out a few scratches and dings.

Personal recommendations only please, I know where lots of bodyshops are (Yellow Pages) but I don't want to find out afterwards what the quality of their work is like.

I can personally highly recommend H G Rhodes & Son of Gomersal, Cleckheaton (10 mins from J26 on M62)

Small garage but DON'T be put off by what you see - they've looked after four of my families cars over the last couple of year - from minor scratches to full panels / arches et al. and we've all been really happy with what they've done / price. You'll probably need to provide your own transport back when you drop your car off.

Personally wouldn't go anywhere else.

If Harrogate isnt too far the Steve Ulman is a great painter! He seems a bit dead pan but he does a great job!!

I had my M3 totally stripped and painted for 1600 quid!!!

He is fussy as ****!, if you have polished your car recently, he wont touch it!!!
Re-painted my mates golf gti, and charged him £900, and it had air bubbles randomly all over the car, which he blamed his compressor for, but dint do owt about it.
Another mate enquired about colour coding his bumpers on his bmw 325i, he said it would be impossible to do, due to his car having silicone/back to black on the bumpers at some point(!!!!!)

Oh and he is really expensive

Garforth panal beaters in east leeds are spot on, i have used them in the past, and found them very proffesional and good with the prices, have 2 proper low bake ovens too
