Evening
Just let folks know, we have a new rep for Yorkshire ... me !
It was thought that with Yorkshire covering such a large area, a rep based further south might be able to get more South Yorkshire owners involved in meets, events and the like, so here I am.
I'll sort a meet out in the next couple of weeks when we gain the extra daylight and if folks come along we can decide on other things.
Anyways I'm Kev and cheers. ........
Congratulations Kev, see you Tuesday and maybe we can use this thread to bounce ideas around for meets etc before creating a dedicated thread for that meet. And discussing the weather of course
Morning Simon.
Must be some sort of record, picked it up Sunday, at the menders Thursday, only an Alfa eh, only an Alfa .....
Nothing serious though just adjusting the handbrake.
I only said brake stuff, I didn't mention springpans and suspension linkage, so some might say I was being optimistic lol
Only joking Kev look forward to seeing it
Blimey Kev, sorry should have touched wood when I said it
But Sean's right, I treat mine as a rolling restoration, always something to do, since I have had it (18 months) :-
ecu and lock set, lambda, all belts and waterpump, brake pads and caliper paint, front wishbone outer bushes powerflexed, two rear trailing arms and powerflex hub bushes, catalytic converter, four new tyres, tart the engine bay up, welding to rear floor pans and front inner wings, clean off underside andpaint with hammerite and cover with waxoil, treat two rust bubbles on roof, on and on I'm sure I've missed something but at the end of the day it's a labour of love :inlove: Serviced twice too, good job I do all the work myself :cheese:
Anybody want to buy a well sorted 156?
Jeez Ian, put that way mines nothing, just wish I was a bit more mechanically adept!, the last thing I did mechanically with any degree of success was with a Mechano set back in 1967 ....
Would you take some photos? We are about to do up our bathrooms and we thought about a wetroom but didn't think it would go with the rustic feel of the house.
What's everyone up to this weekend? I've just successfully rekeyed an SSL certificate for one of our front end servers at work so for the first time in about a month the rest of the weekend is my own, don't know what to do with myself.
I do foresee a dirty fry up on the horizon though
There was pig product in the fridge last I looked :inlove:
Beautiful Yorkshire spring weather outside at the moment.... grr. Think I'll stay indoors and windowshop on Autotrader and Pistonheads again. Then look at my bank balance and cry...lol.
Put HIDs in the fogs and LEDs in the side lights. If you look on the HID thread about page 14 I think I posted some pics. You have to drill a hole in the back of the cap to feed the wires through.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
