That leg of the route is closed from 6:30 in the morning, it goes through the next village along from me so would be daft not to wander along and watch.
Best place will be the top of Cragg Vale, they'll be knackered by that point.
Problem with living on the route is it's full of cyclists round here on a weekend now or nice evening now
Got the final details for our next Yorkshire run out and have managed to get a pass out for Sunday 3rd August so keep an eye out for a new thread this weekend in the Yorkshire lounge
Im really starting to lose it with this stupid push bike race. Cyclist every where going 2 or 3 abreast at 20mph if im lucky. I blasted some with my horn yesterday and they **** them selves. I was laughing for about 15 miles.
And i cant stand everyone telling me its the biggest annual even in the world. ITS NOT! and i should enjoy it. I will not enjoy watching walking for miles to get a view point of a bunch of swetty cyclists go past very slowly. This is not my cup of tea. May be if they had 1000cc engines on and went past at over 100mph every couple of minutes. Oh wait thats the Isle of Man TT
MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!
Had a run over to the Trafford Centre last night for the North West's meet. A good gathering of motors and very friendly folk. A dealer who's name escapes me took me out for blast in Fiat 500 Abarth 595 Comp something or other with Monza exhaust and 175bhp !!! what a fecking rocket with bangs and farts on all the gear shifts, brilliant little thing. Only slight issue was the price but lets not focus on that to much lol.
Defiantly worth a run over next month if anyone else fancies it, ohh and the best bit they go for donuts after checking the cars out - whats not to like lol
What a fabulous day yesterday watching Le Tour, a real carnival atmosphere round Huddersfield and boy can those fellas shift when the pelaton went past us a real rush of air hit us.
The whole of Huddersfield has been pebbledashed !!!!! Bloody council out and above everywhere doin that crappy road dressing rubbish that rubs off after the first good frost.
Yep got some yellow to offset the red wanted to spray the mount and wiper arms as well, had a plan for today that's all gone to ****
