This could be an ideal opportunity for a Sunday morning run culminating at the show.

Quick update:
As of 15th July, we've had 71 registered entries. This is fantastic, more than double what we had this time last year.
http://www.burley-in-wharfedale.org/...lly/15july.pdf
(Gives a list of makes & models so far).
A local resident has specially crafted the "Visitors’ Choice Award" which features a Con Rod from a Dodge racing engine.
There's a real buzz about the show - particularly as there are now more than 10 other events taking place on the same day - most of which are free.

That sounds like a plan, we need to find a nice place to meet a few miles away, hopefully with an entertaining drive towards the venue.
Anyone got any thoughts where we could all meet ??????

My folks are over that weekend, but my dad would love it so count me in - although I may be going of my own steam rather than with AO.

We're up to 92 entries - http://www.burley-in-wharfedale.org/...lly/22july.pdf
If your aiming to show up on the day en masse and particularly if you want to park together, then I suggest that you register via burleyclassic@btinternet.com
It would help us in the planning if we know beforehand.

What about meeting for a coffee and bacon sarnie somewhere in Keighley, maybe you know somewhere decent Thorleyman, this is your neck of the woods isn't it? Maybe you know some decent roads for a decent run from there to Burley too?
Maybe, Keighley-Skipton-Harrogate-Otley-Burley. 1hr 30min.

Looks like a decent run out that, only cafe in Keighley open Sunday mornings is Rossi's cant comment on it never been in but there's always plenty of folk in.
If i get a chance i might do that run and see if there's any where on the way for a stop off, maybe meet in Keighley at Asda or Sainsurys and go on from there.

I went along to this today - had an absolutely fantastic time looking at some lovely cars and chatting with their owners.
One Alfa on show, a shiny boat tail Spider.
Great day out and I definitely think AO should see about attending with a few cars next year.

Very glad to hear "bobda" that you enjoyed the show. It was a brilliant day - we finished up with 240+ entries & sunshine all day long!
I'll post some photos & an updated list of entries, hopefully sometime later this week, or more likely, after the rest of the week long Festival has finished.
