Driving a Mito today

Whilst the 159 is having the engine loked at (warning light intermittent and it's just a bit too sluggish)

Not a bad little car
Have the Veloce spec, but it's an auto (not driven one for a while, and never in such a small motor)

Been having a play with the flappy paddles

Hows the new TCT box? Top Gear magazine have slated it?

hmmm, not convinced. In 'full auto mode' It's very clunky to be honest. As you slam your foot down, nothing... then a squeal and it kicks forward, very suddenly and jerkily.

Personally I don't get why you would want an auto in such a small car. It's fine on a run, but in traffic very erratic.

In flappy paddle mode (you know what I mean) it's actually a lot better. The gear change isn't too bad, but I'd still rather have a stick.

Played with the D.N.A mode. There is a definite difference between 'normal' and 'dynamic' mode
But it being an Alfa, why would you want 'normal' road
