Hi All
If you are planning to come to Cotswold Alfa Day and are intending to join in the driving route PLEASE let us know. We have a limited number of route plans based on people booking with us. If you intend to just turn up at Blenheim Palace and not do the driving route no problem we have plenty of space.
If you do want to do the route please email Matt thewillmotts.uk@tiscali.co.uk

Great to chat with you, GB...it was a good day out, even though the start was a bit damp ! I've posted a few pics in the Meets and Events section. Should have taken more...idiot !
Really liked the beige Giulia Super...so cool. And the silver 2000 - very nice, not likely to see another anytime soon.
Anyone else make it ?

A good day all round, nice to see yo'all, had a wet run there (incuding the Giro) but couldn't ask for better weather once at Blenheim. Actually went off with the family for almost all of the time we were there, ate a few of the yummy plums and pears off of the trees near the maze, walked round loads of the grounds and into the Butterfly thingy and all round the Churchill stuff which made a nice change as I tend to spend too much time chatting and mooching round the cars, which hardly happend at all today.
Many thanks to the Cotswold AROC folk for putting all the effort into organising this event, well done and keep up the good work.
Keep your Alfa in good tune, Please drive harder and faster!!!!!!!

What a top day (weather excluded) with a fantastic drive through the Cotswolds and a good turn out at Blenheim.
Many thanks to the Cotswold AROC group for organising everything so well, look forward to next year.

Overheard at Blenheim on Sunday.
A gentleman sitting quietly eating his picnic lunch in front of his 147 when he was approached by ‘tourist’ who we suspect were from somewhere across the pond!
Tourist “Are you from Alfa Romeo?”
Gentleman “I’m a member of Alfa Romeo Owners Club, Yes”
Tourist “How have all these car got here, have they been driven?”
Gentleman “Yes, the owners have come together for the day”
Tourist “Do you have one?”
Gentleman (somewhat taken aback) “Y..e..s..! “
Tourist “Which one is yours?”
Gentleman (disbelievingly, looking around for the candid cameras) “This one behind me!”
At this point we had to move on as our laughter could have been heard by the tourist
Apologies to the gentleman concerned for not coming to your aid!

Sorry about that, it was there on Wednesday we checked !
For anyone who didn't stop to ask a local or Google it !! the pub was called the Navy Oak
There are a load of photos now on the AROC Cotswolds website http://www.aroc-uk.com/cotswolds/ and on the Blenheim Flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/blenheimpalace/

I know, we were laughing ourselves silly when we heard about one of the folks trying to ask the Thai fellas working on the pub what the name was - apparently they told them what is was going to be called!

Some poor guy was clearing his car out, in the rain, when we got there. I wonder how many people he gave the (correct) answer to?
Mrs Bubbler (who had alredy worked out the anagram) said "perhaps the answer is No Name?" which would still have provided the N we needed.
