Cürburgring 2010 (Curborough Circuit Charity Track day)
Calendar: Event Calendar

Myself and a few fellow Motorsport Students from Staffordshire University are running a charity event at Curborough in lichfield on April the 15th.. to be aptly named the Cürburgring 2010.

We'll have 25 places up for grabs on track, these will cost £35 per car and it will cost an extra £5 to change the driver. We will be announcing when the tickets can be pre-booked and pre-paid for in the coming weeks.

There has already been a fair amount of interest in the event, so it will be first come first served.. and i will let you know long before as to when the tickets go on sale.

If you wish to just come along and spectate, as everyone is welcome, it's free! we do encourage a small donation as this is a charity event after all and do appreciate any help!

Please RSVP as i'd love to get an idea of how many Alfisti are going to be there.. and i'd be quite happy for some 'organised parking' to show off all of your cars!

There's still a few things to be confirmed, so if i don't update it here first, follow the event on either:

www.twitter.com/curburgring2010

or

www.facebook.com/curburgring2010

Because of the track size, it's one car on track at one time, and these will be in 5 lap stints, there will only be 25 cars there on the day, and it begins at 9am through to 6pm so there will be plenty of track time for everyone.. for the price i don't think it's too bad an offer.. We would like cars to be road legal, but i do know a couple of guys plan to bring some 'track specials' if you like, so we don't have a scrutineering policy.. Of course, if we deem it unsafe to be driven we'll let you know.. What do you plan on bringing?

Was a 147.. Now a TT and a Mito.

My v6 156

it is road legal and is perfectly safe but has a large crack in the wind screen and didn't want to pay and turn up if some h&s bod is going to say it's not safe,

sounds like a good deal so far

No don't worry, all we want to see is an MOT certificate just so we've seen that the car is road legal etc, however the car is your responsibility at the end of the day and up to you whether you want to use it or not! Hope that's helpful?

We'll have an official disclaimer upon ticket purchase i'm fairly certain, but it's not my area of the event, so i'll get in touch with the guy who is!

Payment, Again this is one of the other gents area i'm working with, i do believe you can pay cash, postal order or paypal (extra fee's to cover paypal expenses.. I believe it's only an extra 1.50 or something)

'The first 15 aplicants will recieve tickets at £35 each (one ticket per form). Payment must be recieved in cleared funds no later than 7pm thursday the 1st of April. Failiure to do so will result in the tickets going back up for sale to the next on the list.
Payment can be made to us "face to face" in cash, postal order or via paypal (Cost for tickets payed for with Paypal are £36.50 to cover admin/paypal fees).'

That's from the website, I realised half way through me writing it out of my head that a good ol' copy/paste would be easier haha.

I know if you fancy paying in cash, we've got team in stafford, derby and buckinghamshire ( Me for the next two weeks) so if if you guys can get to them, or they may be able to come to you - but don't quote me on that!
