A night in Wolverhampton

Ok, this is a bit OT (

), but myself and my bro are thinking of heading over to see Chelsea play Wolves on Feb 20th. Would it be worth our while spending the night in Wolverhampton-any good boozers that 2 big Irish lads could drink their fill?

Looking to fly to East Midlands to try and save a few bob (paying more than a fiver for a Ryanair flight is just not on....), anyone recommend a way to get to Wolverhampton and back?

Few pubs to hit would be good as well

Airport to Nottingham Train Station - Bus
Nottingham Train Station - Birmingham New Street - Train
Birmingham New Street - Wolves - Train/Bus

Or hire a car. Can’t be that expensive for a few days

Most Pubs are the chain sort of thing like varsity, weatherspoons blar blar blar
