Alfa Convoy Record Attempt
Is anyone else considering heading down to take part in this?
If so - is it worth attempting to organise a convoy from the Midlands? Now don't look at me to organise something, it needs to be someone responsible and adult... er Evel?

Hi all, what day are you all planning on travelling down to Epsom?
Myself (so far in N Wales) and a few in the North West are planning on travelling down on the Saturday and staying at the Holiday Inn, Epsom.
You mention earlier in the thread about meeting on the M40, was that on the Saturday or Sunday?

Us Warwick dwelling folk agree. We'll just have to make sure we meet in plenty of time to get there and get registered and what have you.

I agree sergioq. The earlier the better I think then we can stop for coffee or something if need be. Also long distant convoys can be difficult to keep together if your not careful ( thinks back to alfa day in ripon), we lost 3 cars before we got out the west midlands lol, and it took 5 hours to get there, coming back on my own it took 3 1/2 and that was with a break.

I think what Davieb123 said is good. We'll meet at Warwick services at around 8.30. I shall be bringing some of my S.W.A.R.M. (South Warwickshire Alfa Romeo Meet!) buddies with me.
Where abouts in Warwickshire are you from chrsitian1000? I organise a monthly meet for Alfaholics and it would be great to see you there. Have a look at the thread in the west Mids section. There is another Mito that comes so you could swap notes and stuff
Peace
