I went to start my 147 sele this morning and had imobiliser fail - code, Is there any way to disable the imobiliser or do i need a recode, its xmas and i am pretty short of dollar know any mobiles tech with alfa diagnostics. Xmas is not the same without an alfa as they are for life not just xmas

hiya sorry to hear of ya problems. You could try Wad in wolverhapton. Bit far way though. Where abouts are u?

Have you tried disconecting the battey for about half an hour?

Ps make sure u have the radio code etc just in case.

Also you could try a post in the technical louge on this subject so people can help.

Hi, i expect you have this fixed now but just in case Bushy's mobile mechanic on sutton hill 01952 279439, has some of the correct equipment, he checked over my 156 and reset the aibag light, infact he fixed the connection under the drivers seat and it only cost me £15
no charge if he cant fix it, by the way if there are so many of us in and around shropshire why dont we have a meet?

Yeah sounds good, for starters there is the costord meet every month. Sunday mornings. How about. Good local pub? For maybe a week night?

Could be tempted. Live near Much Wenlock, but work on Stafford Park. 156 02 plate 2.0 ts veloce nero fuoco (met black) tan leather.

But don't see many of you about. See a black s reg 156 near Oakengates sometimes, saw a silver GTV at sainsbury's last week, nice 147 with red leather in much wenlock high street, and occasionally see a 166 facelift ts round Madeley. Saw a black 159 coming off the EP sliproad at Stirchley a few weeks ago. Occasionally see a v reg silver 156 2.0 ts on the EP in the mornings, oh and there is a red 145 somewhere nearby. Seen a black 159 on Magna Foods carpark on Staff Park, and there is a bloke with a silver 52 reg 156 turismo where I work.

Thats about it though....

Just had belts, tensioners and variator done at Simplyalfas @ Lye £350, which seemed pretty good. Had an annual servive at Budgens Shews, just before christmas for £99, even used the right oil.

I used CPC when the wife's old veccy B ECU died just after Christmas (nice). Know what they're doing but as someone mentioned bit pricey. Just bought her a 12 month old veccy c sri.

Ya haven't got me with a sticker yet though....
