Re: auto italia Autumn Italian Car Day

I'm not going to be able to get there until about 12.30, which will be much later than everyone will want to arrive. I may even not make it at all now due to extra work hours that have been added that afternoon.

Does anyone else know of or wish to organise a meeting place for the hordes?

EDIT: For those coming from the north down the M40, the best bet is almost certainly Warwick Services. Not so sure about those heading up the M40 from the south though.

Re: auto italia Autumn Italian Car Day

Just tracking something down now.. doesn't appear to be a whole lot of car parks round M40 junction 12 which is the gaydon exit, the main car parks seem to be around the heritage centre itself.

I would suggest that those coming down from the North meet at Warwick Services, those coming up from the South Meet at Oxford services and i'll try and find something near to gaydon.

Looking at google maps there appears to be a couple of roads coming out of the Northbound and Southbound Areas at warwick services but I'm not sure if we're allowed to use them if we could we could nip across from one service area to the other! I'm going to give warwick services a call

Re: auto italia Autumn Italian Car Day

Meet Point (has post codes):

Warwick Services Southbound at Motorway Services Info

Still trying to get hold of them but if worst comes to worst those travelling north can always go up to the next junction and come back down again.

Anyone want to suggest a time to meet not sure what time everyone's planning to get to Gaydon

Exactly what I was going to suggest! It's not actually that far extra for those coming from the south.

well there was also a thread about this in the East Anglia section ... I've suggested a meet up at South Mimms first.

Re: auto italia Autumn Italian Car Day

I've posted up messages on some of the regions where there are people coming in convoy... As PG says people are coming from everywhere

I've asked for times that people can get to the meet point which is Warrwick Services, then we should hopefully agree on a time which is good for everyone. Then go in one big group..

I may have missed a couple of regions so If you are coming post what time you can make it to the meet point in here.

I'll be going - if you're into Italian cars you'd be mad not to. Is there going to be a GT section? I hope there aren't any Maserati 3200GT's there, I've only just bought my GT and don't want the temptation ......
