The CRX was indeed a cracking car. My Accord however is not... it belonged to an old boy who has now retired. He wasn't into driving by any stretch of the imagination; it has 15" Alloys wrapped in 185/65's! I haven't to this day seen another Accord with anything smaller than 16's which means he must have ordered them specially (for comfort, of course!). It's fully loaded other than that, satnav, electric leather seats etc so it's not exactly a basic model... it's just crap to drive! The next 14 weeks are going to be the longest in my life...

Hi Matt. Don't suppose you fancy doubling the number of cars in my "convoy" to Castle Combe on Bank Holiday Monday to see the Alfa Racer Championship? It'd be good to have a couple of GTAs together.

Hi, I drive a metallic red GTV around Kings Heath/Moseley -Good to see there are others around here. Have't seen many GTVs but quite a few 156s and 147s.

Re: Where are you

Apologies to both, forgot about this thread.

My cars still with Autodelta at the moment, so you wont see it around for a while Evel, I'll keep an eye out for the SW, but I don't really spend much time in West Brom at all. And tell your son its never too late to come back from the dark side

Aubrey, hope it all went well at Castle Combe - unfortunatly I don't have an Alfa to attend in at the present time, and I don't think they let 15 year old Audi's in

Just "rediscovering" the joys of Alfa ownership. I'm Richard, currently in Tamworth with a 156 GTA.

Re: Where are you

Oh and does anyone here own a red 155 2.0 widebody as i have spotted it and given the "Alfa wave" a few times. It is usually seen driving along the A38 in Bromsgrove on my way to work around 8.45 am , i think it is a P reg if i remember rightly , if so "very nice car".

Sadly I can't make it this Sunday, otherwise I'd definitely be up for this. I hope somebody in the region will join you and prove that there is life in the West Midlands!

Cheers

Thumbs Up Humpshire (google it)

Hi guys, My names Ian and i'm an Alfaholic.........
I'm in Willenhall but have a Walsall postcode
Prefer older Alfas but don't dislike modern ones, just never know which ones are real Alfa owners and which are the (fortunate?) company car drivers in the really new ones that are wayyyyyyy out of my price range.
Would be great if we could get a bunch together for a run to MITCAR (Northants 10/08/08) or Autumn Auto Italia (Gaydon 14/09/08) or both????.
Plenty of time to think about it
I'm off to SpaItalia Belgium at the end of June. So long as nothing nasty happens mechanically (which it shouldn't) i'll be up for both MITCAR and Autumn AI.

Si,

I believe I passed you today in Rushall? I was in the Nuvelo GTA, by the time I'd registered the car it was too late!
