who can't fancy the arse off the following:

the heartstoppers
the continental four
willie and the mighty magnificents
donnie elbert
nosmo king and the javells
jackie trent

and finally

geno washington and the ram jam band (appearing soon at darlo civic)

Apparently "The Snake" divides Northern Soul afficionados as to whether it is a true classic of the genre or not. I was told this by someone who runs a NS disco in That There London.

Geno Washington is a superb act. Saw him at the Colne R&B Festival last year. "Nobody leave. If anybody leaves I'll break ya knees".

Saw Geno Washington at "Vickram's Occasions Palace" in Slough last year, absolutely awesome !

I saw a band called Big Ray and The Hipthrusters in 1987 at The Kirk....they weren't Northern Soul though. Thankfully.

i had a single that me and my sister used to dance to and i think it was called skiing in the snow? im sure it was a northern soul type track can anyone remember it?
