I hoped I'd never need to bump this thread ever again

Well the company John works for really did the Dirty on him today

Six days short of having 12 months Service they decided that he wasn't what they were looking for so they've "let him go"

He's not been made redundant or sacked the bastdids just said we're letting you go

In other words the Job as an Engineer paid £22k and since the accident he's been working as a storeman that should only pay £15K you do the Maths

His Time keeping and attendance has been exempary and no discipliary points either

He only took 5 days off after his last operation because he wanted to stay with company and they've SCHIT on him from a great height

I hope every one of the Forkers that took this decision sleep well tonight knowing they've put a hard working lad with a child and partner out of work

As you can tell I'm not so Happy tonight

BTW the solicitor that is dealing with the case has now been told it's open season on the twarts

Oh Trust me mate the brief I hired is a right hard case I've contested Personal Injury case's with him on more than on occasion and he's beaten me every time.

Missed this thread from the get go, I did have a Saab at the time. Saw it bumped up and thought it was new, real hand-in-mouth-time.
Realised it was 6 months old and stopped the cold sweats (the guy I get my tyres from took the top of his thumb off while fitting one to a wheel, a couple of years back,after doing the job 25years+).
Thought everything was going well re. surgery and rehabilitation, then

what a FCUKING BOMBSHELL!!

That's a real nasty piece of work in their HR dept. 6 days to go before 12months service, someone's thought REALLy hard about this, and for sometime too. That ain't a spur of the moment decision!!

Hope your Sharks nail them for all they can get, gloves off re. the accident too, I'm sure he didn't make too many waves at the time, as it's 'who I work for'.

Take them to an ET and get a massive payout

Scott the HR Dept didn't make the decision it was a group of Regional Managers even John's Manager didn't know about it till 10 minutes before he had to give him the bullet and he was gutted

All the girls in the office he was working in where crying their eyes out

He had to wait an hour in the workshop before they sorted out a driver to take his tools back home

They suggested he left them there and come back to collect them

Simon and ET isn't worth a fart if you've not got 12 months service

That's shocking news HM. Hope they get everything that's coming to them.

Just read the whole thread and I can't believe they've done that to him!!!
