Idea Elastic band ball - Good old Royal Mail

I've figured out what to do with all the elastic bands used on the letters by Royal Mail. I've started an elastic band ball

Childish I know, but I've never made one before. Been making it for a fortnight and I'm up to 40mm diameter. I am getting quite possessive over the elastic bands in the office now.

Any one else made one ?
How big is it ?
How long have you been making it ?
Am I just sad ?

Maybe we can have an elastic band ball competition.

Rules : Can't use purchased elastic bands, only free ones sent through the post.

On your marks, get set, go

OK, but I cheated by starting with a crumpled up A1 sheet,
I was making a stress ball / something to play office football with,

Give me some time to think something suitable up !

Thought you must have been watching me ! I had tuna & onion on a crusty roll as well today. Did you have a custard slice though ?

Re: Elastic band ball - Good old Royal Mail

Should have re-named this thread "ramblings of a lonely man !".

Any way, update on the elastic band ball : 45mm diameter.
