Re: Elastic band ball - Good old Royal Mail

A good few years back I started making two. No cheating, I started with one band tied in a knot and went from there. They both got to be about 6" wide, and I was quite happy. When I left that job I put them on my window sill in my den at home... they've slowly perished and are half the size. I still have them though, not in the window anymore.

Re: Elastic band ball - Good old Royal Mail

Why would you do that and how would you get a band big enough to fit round it?

Re: Elastic band ball - Good old Royal Mail

Currently 120mm diameter - we're first house in the street so seem to get 3-5 laggy bands per day. For the first couple of years we just used to save them up and post them back in the postbox 100 at a time, then we tried leaving them next to the front door as a subtle hint, now we're just creating the mother of all balls to throw at postie and teach him a lesson !
