Calling all 360 gamers.

I'm creating this as a thread for us geeks gamers to post up our gamertags. It would be nice to play online against some people.

We can take the Alfa's for a spin in Test Drive Unlimited. Burn rubber in Forza 2 or just blow each other up in some shooters like Gears of War.

I am but never gone online - a bit initimidated perhaps, too old and slow for it? I'm not too terrible at GoW though. Not sure I'd be useless live TBH and I've not activated my free trial coz of that and not knowing owt about it or who to mix with.

Ant is pretty good I think.

(That's a zero not an oh). I play Halo 2 (3 soon!) and Command & Conquer 3 online at the mo, my copy of GoW is broken I also have Ghost Recon AW but I never quite got round to playing online, probably cos I was too busy playing Halo 2...

Yeah come online with us, it'll be a bit of a learning curve at first but it's great fun and you won't look back. Adds tremendous depth to the games. Because of it I have only ever bought 5 games for the 360 in 17 months - for instance, if you like shooters and have Halo 2 online you don't really ever need anything else.

I do own a 360 and have an account. However, I find myself playing online less and less, but I'm still open for a good game.

I like CoD 3 as an online game, but I admit I suck with GoW, though I've finished the single player campaign already three times, once on Insane. And I loved it.

Just two days ago I finished BioShock for the second time, and with that, I now have the 1,000 gamerpoints it nets you. It was hard, but I loved every minute of it.

A girl in the office has just brought in her boyfriend's copy today for me to borrow and see if I like before buying. Will give it a go tonight if I can get near the TV.

I bought both Halo 3 and Stranglehold over the weekend. I ended up playing Stranglehold.

OA - So that's who THAT is I have all these folks on my friends list and half of them I can't even remember where I picked them up.

I'm currently playing through Halo 3 Campaign. dived in at the deep end on Heroic to get a feel for the levels then I'll whip through it on legendary before playing any multiplayer. Looks good although I took a couple of HiRes Photos in the Theatre last night and they haven't appeared on Bungie's site yet

You're so right! I half-expected not to like it (thinking a bit Resident Evil, Zombie killing) but it is really good! I thought I'd have a quick look-see for half an hour last night and ended up at it for 4 hours.

Jim, wait until the story really kicks in. You're in for a real treat, trust me.

Oh, and a piece of advice, rescue ALL the girls, it pays off in the long run. Plus the animation when you rescue one is simply beautiful, the reaction the girls have is truly a sight to behold. Really natural.

And just to see what happens when you harvest them, save just before you make the choice and harvest her. It's creepy. Then reload and rescue her.

And if you're a sucker for achievement points (I am), you can get the 1,000 points all by yourself, since it doesn't have multiplayer of any kind.

And get ready for several 4-hour gaming sessions. It grabs you and doesn't let you go. This is one of the very best games I've ever had the pleasure to play, a real gem.

I've just brought home a nice shiny XBOX360ELITE Forza2 and Halo 3 budled in

Always been a die-hard Playstation fan but got bored. I haven't played online but there's free trail so I may have a go - might see one of you there

I did another 3.5 hours after the United game last night! It does have brilliant graphic and design. I have been rescuing the children (I'm not heartless enough to kill them!) - I agree with you, even the squirming to escape seems realistic.

I just got past the Peach guy and the frozen beer cylinders. It is a very game and way better than I expected.


...maybe I'll end up with a couple of hundred points I checked last night when turning off and only had something like 165/1000 - told you I was terrible!
