Perhaps not to everyone's musical taste - but the video is pure genius in the style of Quadrophenia / Human Traffic / 24 hour Party People etc....You only get videos like this once in a blue moon.

The band came to nothing - but this mini film / music "video" is pretty special and one of the best songs/vids to sum up the hedonistic age of the early 1990's. Ironically - anti Drugs!!
The vid is pretty rare these days to buy - If you go onto one of the auction sites you'll probably find a bidding war going on for a copy
...The "weekenders" it depicts are still around today - more alcohol than ecstacy binging perhaps??...
reminds me of when i first left home and moved to manchester in 1989at the perfect time to ride the "madchester" wave before it became a bit more widespread. flowered up were ok but a bit of a poor-man's-happy-mondays (london interpretation) if y'ask me but who cares, i'm trawling limewire as we speak for a bit of northside & charlatans
