I assume that the question Steve intended to ask was more like

"What is the longest time you have spent away from AO since you became a member."

In that case, I've had the odd week off here and there. Sometimes due to being away, sometimes because I just wasn't in the mood and sometimes because events made me feel that a break was needed.

Then about 3 years, when I changed jobs back in 2008. I struggled to find the time to post on AO, then got out of the habit of logging in

I'm kind of back now, but still struggling to find the time to keep up with the threads - AO does tend to be rather prolific

as I was allowing some 'things' to get to me.

Having done that I came back.
