Is anyone else addicted to Coke?
Hello.
My name's Lord Snooty, and Im a Cocaholic.
Obviously Im not talking about the hard stuff.
Coca Cola
I know it has bad press: full of sugar, caffeine, used to contain cocaine, used to be a cleaning product before the gas went in, can clean a penny or a rusty nail in a jam jar..."ooh, imagine what that's doing to your insides", blah blah...
But I love the stuff. Always have. Nothing truly quenches my thirst like an ice cold gloriously-shaped bottle of Coke.
Thanks for listening

not addicted, but there are about 15 cans of it in my fridge
I call at a "Sunday morning" hangover cure ... it has to be ice cold and in plenty
supply - a bit like a shot of antidote

I crave it at times
Not sure if it makes me an addict - but I believe one can get addicted to caffeine...no?
Seem to remember I had a Geography teacher who was addicted to coffee.
I've never had a Red Bull, incidentally.

I think you can get addicted to anything
Even posting on internet forums, apparantly. Although I
think that is a ridiculous claim

I guess that's true! An addictive personality, as they say.
Forums though? As if!

I can see the hangover cure possibilities. I usually need the sugar kick it gives (and no im not diabetic - been tested)

Hi! again Snoots and peeps. : I love a can or two of RB, straight or slim style, which I drink alongside Newcastle Brown. : Nice to see you again old bean.
Interesting place of employment you have there, especially as my wife is a keen supporter, and we have visited a number of times. Great place doing a marvellous job. Well must off, regards all, the old ex Track Trundeler! :

Yay! ZF - welcome back
I occasionally have some if there is a dash of rum in the glass but otherwise I hardly ever drink the stuff and can't remember the last time I had some.

yep PG watch oot fut that ice....BUT its really diet effective.....or do you need to visit the dentist....sensidine is good tho.

Well add more booze
You really wouldn't have liked the all inclusive at Hotel Alcatraz in Zante then. After 40 cocktails we were all laid low with pineapple juice poisoning. At least you dont have dentures then or do you.
(Ooops to personal please edit)

i detest Coke.
Since i was a kid, soft drinks and sweets seemed - to me - to be like pumping utter rubbish/poison of zero health benefit into my body. I never got Coke, and barely - to this day - touch it. Its appeal is lost on me

I can't stand it - or any other fizzy drink come to that................or so I thought
Then I discovered Fentimans Curiousity Cola - for the first time in 50 years I had a fizzy drink and thought "that's great".
