Dooms Night by Azzido da Bass
Just got hold of a second hand German CD single on Amazon for about £4. UK CD was cr@p (b@stards!), like gold dust these imports!
Some day I'll grow up and listen to proper music but until then...

Re: Today I am mostly listening to
Antonio........ Rush...... an excellent choice !
And how weird ! Around the time of your post, I had just finished a sing and air-drum a-long to the following (sure you know it!)...
" My uncle has a country place, that no one knows about.
He says it used to be a farm before the Motor Law.
And on Sundays I elude the Eyes, and hop the Turbine Freight
To far outside the Wire where my white-haired uncle waits.
Jump to the ground as the Turbo slows to cross the borderline.
Run like the wind as excitement shivers up and down my spine.
Down in his barn my uncle preserved for me an old machine
For fifty-odd years.
To keep it as new has been his dearest dream.
I strip away the old debris that hides a shining car:
A brilliant red Barchetta, from a better vanished time.
I fire up the willing engine responding with a roar.
Tires spitting gravel, I commit my weekly crime.
Wind, in my hair.....shifting and drifting
Mechanical music, adrenaline surge...
Well-weathered leather, hot metal and oil,
The scented country air.
Sunlight on chrome, the blur of the landscape,
Every nerve aware.
Suddenly ahead of me across the mountainside
A gleaming alloy air-car shoots towards me, two lanes wide.
I spin around with shrieking tires to run the deadly race
Go screaming through the valley as another joins the chase.
Drive like the wind, straining the limits of machine and man.
Laughing out loud with fear and hope I've got a desperate plan.
At the one-lane bridge I leave the giants stranded at the riverside.
Race back to the farm, to dream with my uncle at the fireside."
Looking forward to seeing Geddy, Alex and Neil in September..... its been far too long!
Right! Gotta go, next up its Between the Wheels... " You know how that Rabbit feels, going under your spinning wheels.......... "

Re: Today I am mostly listening to
Evo, when and where are you going to see Rush????
I have tickets for Wembley on the 9th September (I think)
Red Barchetta one of my favourites, great driving track.
Still prefer the early stuff though, Caress of steel, Fly by night etc.
I wonder if Davina will be going?????

Re: Today I am mostly listening to
Barry
Thursday 9th September for me too at Wembley Arena!
Haven't seen them since 1988! ! I had tickets for every night at Wembley in April 1992 which was their last UK Tour (I think there were on 3 or 4 nights), but our first born was predicted to arrive that week, so I sold them all a week or two before...... and Dan was then 2 weeks late. Typical!
Cannot say what my favourite period is/was. Can't think of a bad album, but your fav's are definately top notch !
BTW, a few years ago I had the pleasure of sitting next to Davina when I flew to Barcelona . Shame it was only a 2.5hr flight !
