Nice. I love that album.
Bit more Van Halen today followed by a spot of Anthrax to liven things up on the way to work.

Re: Today I am mostly listening to
EVERYTHING!
My iPod is nw installed in my car, so today I've listened to Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani, New Order, Moby, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Kiss, Queensryche, Muse, Orson, The Bravery, The Music, James, The Cult and Robert Plant.
Woo hoo. No more skipping CDs.
Something different tomorrow perhaps.

Re: Today I am mostly listening to
I generally keep my realplayer on random play.
Tonight I've just heard Tonight's The Night (Neil Young), Butch Cassidy Sound System, and Moonlight Mile.

1) Removed the Headunit, disconnected the blue CD changer blank connector and replaced it with the blue connector at the end of the Icelink loom.
2) Drilled a hole in the inside right hand side of the glovebox (careful not to push the drill bit through the wiring loom on the other side of the fascia - you can plan where to drill by looking in through the Headunit recess with a torch). The hole needs to be a minimum of about 12mm diameter to allow the Serial plug sixed connector on the icelink loom to pass through to the conector on the other side. I used a 10mm drill and wiggled it a bit to enlarge the hole!
3) Attached other end of the Icedlink loom to a piece of wire and threaded the wire through the glovebox hole, behind the fascia and up through the Headunit hole.
4) Connected both sections of the Icelink system together and replaced the Headunit.
5) The iPod docking cradle just needs mounting inside the glovebox now to stop it moving around.
Voila. No external wires and no tell tale signs of an iPod being used in the car. Just working on the functions and how to control it using the headunit and steering wheel controls now.
