Re: Today I am mostly listening to

Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American

I'm not alone cause the TV's on yeah.
I'm not crazy cause I take the right pills everyday.
And rest, clean your conscious, clear your thoughts with speyside with your grain.
Clean your conscious, clear your thoughts with speyside.
Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Tune in and we can get the last call.
Our lives, our coal.
Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Sign up it's the picket line or the parade.
Our lives.
I'm not alone cause the TV's on yeah.
I'm not crazy cause I take the right pills everyday.
And rest, clean your conscious, clear your thoughts with speyside with your grain.
Clean your conscious, clear your thoughts with speyside.

Our lives, our coal.
Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Sign up it's the picket line or the parade, our lives.
(I bled the) greed from my arm.
Won't they give it a rest now?
Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt.
Our hearts littering the topsoil.
Tune in and we can get the last call.
Salt, sweat, sugar on the asphalt, our hearts littering the topsoil.
Sign up it's the picket line or the parade.

So gimmie more or nothin at all.

Re: Today I am mostly listening to

I know its using bandwidth posting all these lyrics, but I think they're quite.....erm......intersting.

SAVES THE DAY - As Your Ghost Takes Flight

The last time that I saw you, August of '99,
I should've had my hammer and a few rusty spikes
to nail you on a wall and use bottles to catch your blood
and display you for the neighbors so they know your time had come.
And I'd drink your blood and feel it dripping down my throat
as it heads for my heart.
And as your body sags and the stench rises in vain,
the people on the street are collecting in dismay.
Before your eyes your head lifts towards the sky
and that's the last thing they'll remember of you.
And I'd drink your blood and feel it dripping down my throat
as it heads for my heart.
You've become a ghost.
You're floating somewhere in between
the waking world and a landscape of dreams.
Well it's nothing but dying.
You've got a grenade stuck in your teeth and you're pulling at the pin.
You're an illusion, just a shadow flickering underneath the sun.
And I'd drink your blood and feel it dripping down my throat
as it heads for my heart.

Thumbs Up Re: Today I am mostly listening to

Remaining in the autochanger from our Cornish excursion......

Tom Robinson Band - Power in the Darkness
Talk Talk - Asides & Besides
Eddie and the Hot Rods - The end of the begining
Foo Fighters - The colour and the shape
Propaganda - A secret wish

the above were occassionally substituted with a selection of Rush and Rush solo cds that sneeked their way into the glove box before we left.....

....however, I STILL couldn't eject

The Ordinary Boys - Over the Counter Culture

Re: Today I am mostly listening to

Quinn I'm in love with my car was a track from "A Night at the Opera"
Queen 2 had the track Seven Seas of Rye the stand out single/number
I'm beginning to wonder whether in a previous life I was "The Hairy Cornflake"

Re: Today I am mostly listening to

Quinn...Not often you hear someone really say they like Queen 2
I'd always have their first album as my preference just love that song
Liar in fact its one great debut album.
Got me in the mood to play it now
