Relaxing, powerful, and touching all at once.
Still an incredible achievement, not likely to be matched by anybody anytime soon .....well, unless you count Sigur Ros themselves!
The future of music.... I no lie
Sigur Rós - Ágætis Byrjun
Ant,
this might interest you.
I commented with a friend that I was listening to the last album from Metallica. I asked him what he thought about it. he returned that “how could such a great album have such a poor sound quality?” he also said that there is a petition online for a remix and/or remaster of the album. it looks like is not just a mp3 quality issue.

I'm reading it now. Rush's Vapor Trails is a classic (and VERY annoying) example of this problem. I actually bought it twice to see if the American version had the problem and the Canadian one didn't. Both did.
Californication also crackles as you listen to it. I have that CD as well.
I'm still not sure about Death Magnetic, though. I'll listen to it again and see if I can notice anything odd.
Three Days Grace - a cracking new band and album!
Metallica will have hopefully arrived in the post by the time I finish work so that'll be the weekend's driving sorted.
