Re: Today I am mostly listening to

Nada Surf - Lucky
Album has contributions from Death Cab For Cutie, Calexico, Julianne Hatfield and Ed Harcourt (if they mean anything to you )

This opening track is gorgeous with a fantastic overlapping melody
YouTube - Nada Surf, "See These Bones"

i’m quite a jamiroquai fan. that’s why i was there. but i try not to lie to myself. comparing to what i ear from their shows and from what i have in their verona live dvd, i can assure you, they really sucked. i bet it was an organization problem, but no one mentioned nothing about it. i’m really frustrated. after 2 shows missed, i promised to myself not to lose the next jk show, and they do this!? no one knows what happened. they were supposed to be the last band playing, but a guy named “Jorge Palma” (very common here) played after him. this guy didn’t gave encore at all!.

thanks about the jk audition for bnh info. my sister is going to laugh a lot about it

Re: Today I am mostly listening to

isn't it strange when you look upon things from the
past
and then rediscover them and realise they were not that
good at all ... here is an example

YouTube - Wah! - Story of the Blues/Remember on "Yes" 1983

Take it easy bud
Hello Jed-Lee has been working on new tunes-he was featured in the Everton FC fanzine "When Skies Are Grey(WSAG)" recently and is possibly going to do something on BBC Radio Merseyside in the near future-will keep you posted.

Pete.
I see Sia's one of Lee's MySpace "friends"

Please do Pete
Lee's got real talent and I'm pleased he's getting "out there" on home ground.
MySpace.com - Professor Yaffle - Liverpool, UK - Folk / Psychedelic - www.myspace.com/proffesoryaffle

I tell you, as an example, "Happiness & Piece of Mind" is a very special piece of songwriting. I play it when overseas and missing my bambinos. Just beautiful

I love his new track "Put it Out" too!
One of his myspace entries says he's going to put out an album Good on him

PS - just a shame he's a blue nose
