well, although i'm a BIG Mercyful Fate fan, i'm not really into black metal. you might misjudged me by my photo. i began most with death metal, and now i'm more into heavy metal (some progressive). the only suggestion i can give you is "focusing blur" from vintersorg. it's a fusion of black metal with folk. a mix of classic black metal screams with clean vocals, acoustic guitars... steve digiorgio on a fretless bass. one of the best bass players of all time for me. i've listened to it today, and i think it's swedish metal at its best. its the closest to black metal that i listen. hope you like it

I'm reading about Vintersorg as I type.

I'm listening to Microscopical Microcosm on YouTube right now. It's definetly different.

It sounds as a mix between Gordian Knot and Spiral Architect.

What do you usually listen to?? What kind of Heavy Metal are you into now??

get the full album. i think that way it’s easier to get into the odder songs.

in heavy i’m not listening to that much bands. i’m letting myself drown in Mercyful Fate for a year or so. now i’m even listening to the albums i thought i didn’t like. i’m also on Black Sabbath (the Dio albums, “Heaven and Hell” is my favorite), Candlemass “Chapter VI”, Judas Priest “Painkiller”… its difficult for me to find something that i like, but metal e definitely my thing. on other metal genres the list would be much bigger, but i think we will have time to talk more about it in the next days…

also, if you’re a big Dream Theater fan, you must know they have a live album playing “Master of Puppets” from Metallica. if you like both bands its just awesome! good sound quality, extremely powerfull!

I looked all over Utube and this is the best version of this I can
