No other band "disarm" me to such a degree as Australia's The Cat Empire No other band make me leap around (like I used ta'!) and dance like a baboon with a smile on my face. No other band (well, not too many anyway) can mix cuban jazz, afro beats, ska and funky hip-hop to such a great sound.

Still, one of the best live bands around. There's something very special about Aussies ability to embrace life in their music devoid of the usual western pretentions. Impossible to pidgeon hole - with a enviable lust for life
