Shame Ant, as I've seen you listen to Tori Amos a fair bit whose music is, in general, much darker and melancholic (as you know, she's not one for uplifting and jolly lyrics).

If you shift between Amon Amarth, Pet Shop Boys and Tori Amos - what is your kind of music? I guess it, of course, depends on how you're feeling at any given moment that determines what you reach for in your record collection.

Incidentally, it was Laguna Sunrise that led me to Sia tonight. Funny how easy it can be to shift 3 decades and multiple musical genres so easily.

What about "Changes" for sad and melancholic??
