"Without You" by Badfinger...1970 I think

a fascintating original version by two blokes who did the dirty deed
and ended their own lives

Harry Nillson had a BIG hit with it though
(Not a lot of people know that u know
...er..I mean that Badfinger did it first)


...also "Candy" by Ash...fooking marvellous

Quinn Didn't Badfinger have a big helping hand too their career from
Paul McCartney, seem to remember an LP cover showing sheep in a winter setting.

Yes knew about Kossoff he self destructed some years ago tho'
Back Street Crawler is OK.
Have you heard Andy Fraser Band LP circa 1975 features Kim Turner
on drums and Nick Judd on Electric Piano very much in the laid back

Not heard of that but got the Crawler album(s)...full "A" side of Tuesday Morning (I think!) and the limited edition "Kossof" double LP things...VERY good

Do yourself a big favour and get CD called The Peter Green Songbook
which has all the old songs performed by other great artistes and it is
Superb. The stuff by Peter Green now with his Splinter group is not bad
considering his past

Picked up a bootleg ,(like you do) from a record fair called Free-In Session Tonight BBC Sessions stuff from 69-71 The Hunter is excellent

True there is a fair bit of blues but the rendition of"Green Manalishi" with
Crazy Arthur Brown is just Wild!!
and in complete contrast the sultry tones of Jennifer Ferguson on
