It had been around two years since I had listened to it. I was really surprised to see that it's a really great album. A tad unpolished, perhaps, but waaay better than their latest offerings. Oh, and it was proper hard rock/metal.

Stumbled, (by accident), on some old Killing Joke
Massively influential early 80's post punk combo on the likes of Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Metallica to name but a few!
I think I used to dance to this track quite a lot in my younger days

Had a cup of tea with Jaz Coleman once - awfully nice chap!! Completely bonkers I grant you, but nice

Just today I was going thru my downloaded music, and stumbled upon Killing Joke again. I'm seriously considering buying one of their CDs now.

Good to have some Killing Joke in one's record collection.
I listened to the whole of their last album, Pandemonium, after sstamp (Simon) mentioned it What a cracking album - I think you'd like it! Check out the title track on YT (I know, it's not about the video, but it gives you a taste).

Tonight I started a bit sad/happy/introspective with the gorgeous Sia - Breathe Me which fitted the bill. Ended up a wee bit more euphoric/silly with the fab Lemon Jelly.
