Funny that... You must be psychic.
Either that, or adept at clicking posted links.
I'm going with psychic.

Cheers all, for your replies, wonderfull looking car, going to google it and find a bit more out and how much they are£££
Isnt it funny how when companies and people think beautiful italian cars Alfa's are often thought of above ferrari's? Maybe I'm wrong in that assumption but its nice to know we all own/drive cars that everyone else aspire too Me thinks I have been drinking too much Pinot Grigio tonight

Errrr, don't really get the idea of the peroni advert and what the car has to do with it all...? Nice duetto though.

As any ad man will tell you, Ferraris are too obvious, especially if the product you're trying to sell isn't a Ferrari. Not only do they give off the wrong impression (arrogance, wealth, flashiness), they also hog screen time like Jack Black after a few Red Bulls.
Alfas are perfect in adverts as a classy, glamorous, sophisticated, yet understated prop, complementing the product as opposed to overpowering it.
Talking of advertising, I reckon AR UK have done a deal with ITV, as there's a Brera in Corrie and a Spider of a similar vintage in Emmerdale.

I think the theme of the advert is "Italian classics". The idea that is supposed to be implanted in your mind is that Peroni is an italian classic.
I'm not an ad man, but I know how they think.

You go further than I would have even bothered. I'm obviously not an Alfista at heart but I think you're right. I'll look out for Peroni next time I'm in Italy.

Has anyone else noticed the 147 in the BBC ad, its the one where the camera zooms out on a roundabout with lots of bikes cycling round? One of those BBC 1 trails before a programme starts!
Also that insurance ad, where someones crashed into a silver 156!

I was thinking along similar lines. They also had a red Spider featuring heavily in that Dolce Vito series about the Anglo-Italian chap setting up an English restaurant in Italy.
