Why I Love (Most) Cars in Black
"She's the last of the V8's. She Sucks Nitro!"
I remember watching the original Mad Max movie a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away and thinking, "Fark that looks insane in Black!" (my uncle had one in orange - no fluffy dice though ).
Never mind it had a fake blower, she actually didn't suck nitro in reality and the start up ignition was all celluloid fantasy.
The thing had such presence in Black.

Black is best on (most) cars.
But it is so hard to keep bloody clean!

Re: Why I Love (Most) Cars in Black
I hate black with a passion having attempted to respray my black Capri many moons ago. It showed up every imperfection in what I thought were flawless bodywork repairs.
Has to be said, clean black cars do usually look pretty good.

Hijack Cont....
I love the film
I do remember you saying before that you didn't HST
Is there a particular reason for your dislike of the film? Certain actors? Performances? As I'm sure you remember most people on here loved it.

I think I hate it because so many others revere it. If people said 'yeah it's a pretty good film' then I wouldn't mind, but too many people try to unravel it as if it's a piece of art, and they disect the films every passing moment.
Then they rush out and buy a retro t-shirt with the minis on the front, and they yell 'you're only suppposed to blow the bloody doors off' in the pub at high volume.
In short, the film is ok. The bandwagon jumpers (not all the fans, but a percentage of them) are really, really irritating.

Its an all time classic film, especially if you are a mini fanatic (such as me)
As for the black cars......i have two of them, and solid black is better than metallic black

I afraid them people do exist
I personally like most Michael Caine film's but the Benny Hill character and performance just really makes the film for me

The Italian Job isn't a very good film, but that doesn't stop it being a charming and enjoyable one.

you wouldn't get away with that now; she would be sacked and thrown into jail, and you would be taken away from your family by the local authority, lol.
