Hmmm Do we really have freedom of Speech??

Apparently not! Started a thread and replied to peoples sarcastic comments in the same tone, only for someone to deem my retort as rudeness! So back to the question does freedom of speech really exist or is it only for a few to manipulate it into their favour??

Give us a link to the original and then we will be in a position to cast an opinion.

If I had my way everyone would have zips on their mouths that are only opened once a year for a quick chat about the weather

In reality, you can't. I assume you are referring to your engine re build thread ? TBH, you did come across as rather agressive; shouting in block capitals and swearing at people isn't likely to elicit a positive response.
Having said that, like in any community, there are people on here who will get up your nose; we all have different views. I myself have been unfairly accused of being a "troll" on one thread which was of a political nature (always a contentious subject !) It's a subject I happen to hold strong views on though, and as such felt I should be entitled to express such views even if they were contrary to others (my views being of a legal, mainstream party of course !). Accusing someone of being a troll just because they hold a diametrically opposite point of view is lazy at best.
For what it's worth mate, my advice would be to cut out the shouting and swearing, and be clear about what your point is - if you post something that is unclear, you can't go accusing people of being nosy if they ask questions to try and understand what point you are trying to make.
