Another one bites the dust!

I wonder if this time, the driver actually owned the car?

Re: Wooops! Veyron No.2

A clear case of more money than talent Maybe there should be a compulsory advanced driving test for cars over a certain performance level ?

Nope; in theory you can pass your test, and jump straight in a Veyron
Getting insured on it though would be a different matter

You'd think the insurance companys would push for some extra teaching of some sort.

Re: Wooops! Veyron No.2

They just price people out. There is a different system for bikes though, AFAIK ? Don't you have to pass another test before you can jump on a Fireblade or something ?

Vauxhall/Opel did offer a driving course with the Lotus Carlton, yes. I'm not sure it was compulsory though?

Re: Wooops! Veyron No.2

I think new drivers should have a power limit on cars they drive for a certain period after passing their test.

They do it with motorbikes, so why not with cars? After all most bike crashes are caused by car drivers.

Nicely done. I wonder who it was. If he wasn't on the radio tonight I would have had a guess at Chris Evans
