I'm not normally a fan of folk music and about as far as I go in that direction is Nick Drake, however, I caught the end of the Cambridge Folk Festival on BBC at the weekend finishing with Seth Lakeman.
I haven't heard of him before and his stuff is what I think of as quite classically folky (what he sings about) with a contemporary twist (musical arrangement).
Anyway bought his album Poor Mans Heaven for a few quid of Amazon which arrived today and been listening to it all day and it's bloody brilliant.
