You try your best, but the small gods of typos and innuendo collaborate to shaft you every time.

You may as well suspender gracefully.

Didn't anyone else notice the Headcrabs stalking the corridors? Surely it wasn't just me that was beating them with a crowbar? What about the G-Man? Did anyone else notice him lurking in the shadows? No?

Then i truly am Gordon Freeman.

Re: Large Hadron Collider

The world wasn't due to end yesterday, they only tested it with a particle beam going in one direction.

The full-on cataclysmic end of the world experiment happens on October 21st.

Re: Large Hadron Collider

Just as a matter of interest - and according to the 10 o'clock News last night, the leccy bill for this thing is £14m a year. Who is picking up that tab?
What is it's carbon footprint?
Will it be worth all the expense?
Will I still be fined if I leave my dustbin in the wrong place 5 mins too early?
The World awaits the answers to the meaning of life and everything with baited breath ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Re: Large Hadron Collider

There has been a lot of rubbish in the press recently about the safety of the experiments taking place at the new Large Hadron Collider. I was digging around on the 'net at lunchtime and I came across this link. It seems as a measure of reassurance to all, CERN have set up a couple of webcams with live feeds available 24/7 while the experiments are taking place - one shows the inside of the collider chamber itself and one is situated outside of the main facility.

Its well worth a look, if only to reassure yourself that we're not all about to disappear into a French-based black hole.

Re: Large Hadron Collider

Typical press really. The experiments don't start for a year or so, they're only testing the thing at the moment anyway.

If you're Gordon, where's Alyx

I too have a crowbar, and I have a HEV suit (sort of).
