Hi Zed - no I thought it was the clutch but Jamie said it just needed an adjustment and has been right as rain since
Although I should never have said that!
I see yours has gone did you get what it was worth - being such a good clean example?

Re: Decision time...
We got a decent price, making an allowance for the fact it was up on it's three year cambelt change schedule. Sad to see her go, but a very nice young lady bought her, drove her back to Northampton, no real problems.
However, the following morning she phoned to say that it would only engage neutral and reverse! : Felt very sorry for her, but did suggest Jamie when her boyfriend spoke to me later, so I hope it is sorted by now. :
Shame, because she was so thrilled when she drove off in her, and as we had had no bother other than the battery problem when we first bought her, really felt for her bad luck. : Hope she finds a quick effective fix,as it was a really good example, with only 12,400 or so on the clock. :

Oh god, its strange how these things happen. I am sure it would have been a quick fix though if she goes to someone like Jamie

Re: Decision time...
Nev, got one female salad fanatic down in the lounge! Drives me potty, crunching and munching, like some Kannichen, whilst I eat nice plump 97% sausages, chips and beans, or other versions of Real... food.

Re: Decision time...
Gave her loads of stuff, complete history, engine top up oil,(I've never had to top it up though, ever), some red polish, an extra 12mm? stud for wheel changes, plus other odds and ends, including front and rear brake pads, hardly worn at all. Just hope she gets good service from it? Go get your grub stakes now mate, forget Nev's pony suggestions. :
