I'm a dusty academic. I graduated last year with a degree in Neuroscience and fell in with a very successful Cardiac research group. As I program the head of the department offered me a PhD. However funding for this fell through so I went 6 months without pay and now I’m on 1K a month of the labs disposable funds. (not easy to keep a 166 running on that!) Now I’ve just found out that this money is only in place until September and it will take about six months for the PhD funding to come into place.
Now I really want to move house which means I need a stable income. So I’ve been looking for a job. But it really breaks my heart to leave the years worth of research I’ve done and I really fancy being a dusty academic.
Anybody got any bright ideas? Anyone want to fund my PhD?
Cheers Stuart

Would if I could, but I can't, sorry.: Millionaires on a AO, who are feeling benevolent, toward a very worth cause? PS How long can I take Ramipril for?:

Until your doctor says you can't! Just watch you blood pressure. (But don't worry about your blood pressure that would cause it to rise!
That’s more cardiovascular. My research interest is the arrhythmias cause by hypothermia. And Lasers because they are cool!
Hi Stu, have you tried the Division of Clinical Neurosciences at the Western in Edinburgh or the Institute of Neurological Sciences at the Southern in Glasgow. Also Organon might have something for you, if you where gonna go private??
