Hey everyone. You guys n gals have been there for me through what has been, quite frankly, a really sh1t time in my life. (the cheatin boyfriend, gettin made redundant etc). You have helped me with great advice and moral support when i needed it.
Well, things are now looking up. Today I got the news I was hoping for - I have landed a cracking job with Mercedes Benz. I have a good feeling inside - this is the start of a new era for me.

LOL! I did apply to Alfa in Edinburgh, but didnt hear back from them. Its Merc, but hey, it'll pay the bills and then some! I will be earning almost double what I did with Barratt! Wooohooo!
A new Brera for me in a few months maybe? Sod the Merc company car! haha!
As you say this has not been the best time in your life BUT - observing your posts over the last few months your strength and determination have shone through.

My 220A a 1956 model never let me down, and when the wind was blowing chill in the Harz Mountains, I just pulled the chain to raise the rad blind, started her up, switched the heater on, and carried on snoggin' me Fraulein in minus 20degrees.
Don't think I could of done that in me' old 147 Sele' in 2008, or? Dinnae' knock the Mercedes, this side of the wall.
