look like pillocks, probably the same people who wear sunglasses in clubs. not . doyles.

Personally I don't like/wear flipflops,
but if the pub is on a beach it makes perfect sense
to me as sand plays havoc with shoes.

Same with sunglasses if you're there for sunrise or sunset.
(I prefer photochromics as I already wear glasses.)

Pffft be a man, if on/near the beach barefoot Proper sandals for when the tarmac burns the soles of your feet off

It is those that wear sandles and socks that annoys me.

The offenders usually wear shorts at the same time, along with flip up clip on sunglasses.

they're just so uncomfortable. you've got that bit that sticks between your big toe and just rubs. Why would you want to stick anything between your toes?

Then that's constant flap/wack flap/wack flap/wack noise they make. If the pain in between your toes wasn't enough to remind you you're wearing flip flops, then the blasted noise certainly will. Flap/wack flap/wack flap/wack...
