Can't wait for my holiday......

....which starts on Saturday.

It's now almost three weeks since I've had a decent nights sleep. Added to that the fact that my business partner and half our staff have been off on holiday it all adds up to a whole load of knackerdness. I've been tetchy and missed a couple of things whilst driving that I shouldn't have. I just want to crawl into a hole and sleep, except when I try that I can't .

Boy, am I looking forward to the break.

Re: Can't wait for my holiday......

Fraser mate, i'm so with you there bud. My co-director has cleared off for three weeks and left us with a series of...well, I don't want to go into detail here, but the gang and I have staved off two disasters, reclaimed an ailing client, stepped in on a briefing that was falling to pieces and made it a success, won a new account, extracted more business from a current client and pulled in a former client. I've got five events to arrange between now and September, but i'm off to see my 'rents in Spain in a few weeks for just over two weeks...and I cannot wait to get there, chill out and have my dad ask, 'g, bicchiere di vino?' damn right, fill it to the brim, pops

I love animals...they're delicious

Re: Can't wait for my holiday......

I know exactly what you mean Fraser. You get to the point where you just can't do more and you start to make mistakes.

I've had 2 days off in the last year and a bit (plus 4 days at Christmas & New Year) and all of a sudden I am knackered.

I've got a holiday booked for December but I'll not make it that far unless I get a break in between. I quite fancy Venice, but Paris, or Switzerland are 2nd and 3rd choices.

Let us know what you think of Paris. It could be just the spur I need to make a booking

Have a good one.

Leslie

Re: Can't wait for my holiday......

Thanks people. Only two more days left so I'll be in Paris before I know it. I've heard lots of good things so, apart from my almost completely non-existent French, it should be more than good.

Leslie - I'll be sure to post a picture report when I get back.

(Like the '80's avatar BTW )

Re: Can't wait for my holiday......

Have a good one Fraser. Paris can be great.

I'm off to the IOM next Friday to see an old mate for a catch up, blast around the circuit and many sunken pints of the local brew after.
