Fast and Furious

Hey,

Turns out they are making a fourth 'The Fast and the Furious movie'.

Most people hated these films, and I can fully understand why, I however actually quite enjoyed them and thoroughly loved the first.

Which is why I was happy to hear that all four main characters from the first movie were gonna be back in this one,

It's not set to hit UK cinema's until 2009.

Can't wait!!!

Fast and Furious (2009)

Re: Fast and Furious

The first film was just about watchable because of the screen presence of Vin Diesel. The other two were playstation-masturbatory rubbish.

While you say Vin is back, I'm not sure he's capable of redeeming it from the deep pit of cackness in which the franchise now resides.

If it has a fake turbo dump sound effect, then I'll forgive you.

Re: Fast and Furious

The Japanese soundtrack from the 3rd film is probably the worst in film history. ( To my ears at least )

Re: Fast and Furious

I didnt realise they had actually been allowed to make a third, let alone a forth!!! Too much money in Hollywood obviously. The first one i did watch. I didnt like it but the cars were nice to look at. Thought mr Diesel's RX-7 was very funky. But what a turd of a film. Wont let anyone i know watch it through penalty of death.

Re: Fast and Furious

I saw the first one, and then the ensuing barry boys camping up their Civics as a result, I wonder what a fourth film will spawn.

Re: Fast and Furious

To it's credit, since 2Fast 2 Furious the movies have tried to spit out American Muscle cars as much as possible, the Dodge Charger in the first was the best Yank Tank they had though.

Tokyo Drift had a 67 Mustang Fastback as one of the main cars as well as a Chevy Monte Carlo 1970 being used at the beginning for a bit.

2Fast had a Dodge Challenger and a Chevy Camaro as 2 of the main cars.

The latest film is supposedly using a Charger, a Chevelle and a Camaro as some of the main cars.

Of course alot of the Barry Boys cars will still remain sadly, but the muscle cars are brilliant used in these movies.

Re: Fast and Furious

I don't think i'd enjoy these films if it weren't for the muscle in them...I hope the new addition to the series is going to have plenty of it...although it wouldn't be the same without the tuners I must admit.
