Newcastle United - Morally Vacant

Giving Joey Barton a 'second chance'?

Disgraceful.

In any other profession that horrible little man would have been sacked as soon he had been found guilty.

Utterly disgraceful.
It is not his 'second chance' anyway, he has had previous at other clubs.
He and his family are all thugs .

I don't think Newcastle can afford to sack their best players
Unlike the rich chelsea's of this world (ie Adrien Mutu)

i'm all for giving a man a second chance in life but he must be on his 5th already. really disappointed in nufc for not tearing up his contract and kicking him out. obviously i don't know the bloke personally, but everything i've seen of him both on and off the field confirms my suspicion that he is indeed a total and utter arsehole

Unfortunately it all comes down to money in the end. He will still be seen be Mr Cashley as an 'asset' that he could make a return on in the future.

Re: Newcastle United - Morally Vacant

Its all about money, pure and simple. The spent over 5 mil on him last year and want that back! Lets face it...who wouldn't.

To me it just shows the hypocisy of sport up again. Barton carries on in his sport with 40k a week to show for it while Chambers is hounded out of Athletics for cheating. I wonder what he would have got if he also pummelled his opponents in the face when he crossed the line?
